Tribute to Ted “Brett” Reichhart and our Other Beloved Heroes who have Passed – The Spark of Passion and Compassion in the Birth of this Retreat Weekend
What sparked the idea of the Retreat was the passage of “Ted” Brett Reichhart from brain cancer Glioblastoma. The frustration was clear in his father, Chip Reichhart, who realized that accepted treatment was not going to safe his son’s life. Despite using the nutritional intervention of a Calorie Restricted ketogenic diet, we needed more to combat this fatal cancer. Kendell, his sister, asked George Yu to join forces to create this Brett Reichhart Memorial seminar. We hear that “Necessity is the mother of invention,” and in health it’s when the conventional treatment is not effective that we search for other resources. This is what the Reichhart family did and so many others like the Galli family, the Beaverton family, the Waller family, the Palmer family, the Wright family and countless others. Someday, it may be your family and your loved ones.
